I wrote this song a few years ago. It depicts life in rural Indiana in the late 40s thru the 50s. While the lyrics are not completely true, the story represents life conditions for many of our friends and neighbors during that era.

I hope you enjoy it. Played on a Gibson J45, which suits the mood of the tune perfectly.
