Portable PA for buksers
Hi,
I would like to buy a portale PA for 2 vocals and an acoustic guitar.
I have considered the Bose S1 pro, but there is only two channels. Any suggestions? :-) |
Yeah, an Elite Acoustics D6-8ii. I absolutely LOVE mine!

If the guitar output is hot enough ,Laney AH4x4...
I did not update the list for a while Code:
Brand Fishman Laney Bose LD system Roland Roland Laney EAE Mugig AER ACUS Roland |
Try the Elite Acoustic A6-8 MKII it has 80 rms and on board mixer with 6 channels at 28 lbs. $849 well spent dollars! Great sound for guitar and vocals.
|
It would be great to have in the list also the JBL Eon One Compact, new Harley Benton Streetbox-60 with 60 W and 3 channels, the new Orange Acoustic Crush 30, and the very new The box pro DSP 110 BP with 90 W, 125 max SPL and 10" woofer. Anybody has any experience with these?
|
One thing that isn't obvious as we discus feature sets and prices is the difference in sound quality. Elite Acoustics sound incredible. The sound of my D6-8 is much like a well equipped studio setup with reference monitors, not like a live amp at all.

Thanks for all good answers!! Ive been reading through all of them and also did a lot of research last days. The choice is not easy.. there is so many to choose from.
Becaus of the price, three channels, natural sound and ligthweigh... I am now considering the Laney AH4x4. I have a Maton EBG 808TE, and play both instrumental and like to sing and play singersongwriter-music (typically James Taylor type of music etc). Sometime I sing together with a friend of me, and we perform maybe once a month for a small audience. |

Can't go wrong with the Laney AH4x4 except it doesn't have a normal EQ. Has made back hundreds of times its worth since I've gotten it. Make sure you get the 3x18650 lithium batteries to power it and don't use AAs (there are 2 battery options). It's also not exceptionally loud but good enough if you find a nice location
