Good Morning AGF!
Good Morning AGF! What are your plans for the week-end? Coffee/Tea/Other this morning?
Side note ... anyone remember the famous movie quote "Good morning ... xxxxx"? I was in the army reserves the year after that movie came out and one guy would yell that out every morning. |
Good morning, Dru and everybody. Just a little reading, music, yard work and exercise. I'm beginning to wonder when if my Cards are going to play any more baseball this season. May as well occupy myself in other ways. https://yoursmiles.org/tsmile/tears/t2301.gif

Good Morning, Vietnam!
And good morning Dru! Plans? Just made a breakfast run to McDonald's. Gonna cut the grass in a little while. That's the only firm plan. Guitar playing will find it's way in my day for sure. |
Top of the morning, Dru! Just settling back in after 4 days with no power. All's well that ends well. Have a great day everybody!

Good Morning, Starshine! The Earth says, "Yo whatsup!?!"
I'm going around and naming all the objects in my life. Thanks for letting me type on you, Mr. Clicky! Dru, I'm really hoping you'll drop by the General Forum and name my guitars, they've been asking about you. |

And a bright good morning to you, Dru!
One summer when I was in college I stayed over at the school and worked as a carpenter. The school paid me and gave me a bed in a nearby home they owned. Every morning I got up, put this on my loud stereo... and took a shower. It was loud enough for me to enjoy and boogie to the music while in the shower. It woud end as I was putting on my clothes after the shower. Every morning for an entire summer. At the end of the summer we guys in the home had a BBQ and I ended up standing next to my next-room-neighbor as we ate. Randy was a very conservative Christian who didn't like rock music - he thought it was a bad influence. While we were chatting, somehow my musical proclivities came up and Randy explained that every morning while my Emerson, Lake, and Palmer was blasting he was across the wall containing my stereo having his quiet time, praying (or trying to) and reading the Bible. I was horrified at what I had put him through. That stereo was LOUD and would have cut through the walls of the bungalow like a knife through butter. I apologized profusely. He smiled and said, "Don't worry about it." I asked why he'd never asked me to stop or cut back the volume. He smiled again and said, "It was no big deal and you were enjoying your moment." It was a lesson for me in tolerance. Still and all, the Fanfare was a very invigorating start for the morning. Bob |
yup
Hi ya Dru! Today is another mystery day! Wife just made some nuclear coffee...:p
|
I work weekends.
I’m off on leave next weekend though, taking my mum to a local Michelin starred restaurant. It was a Christmas present but obviously with Covid things are only just reopening. Really looking forward to it, the food is delectable. |

Good morning to all. Today I turned 64 years young. Bought a new grill and a pair of new hiking boots. It's a good day indeed. Going out to dinner later. :)

Watching my Reds vs Brewers. Reds actually won last night.
Been playing around on my GS mini today. What a great little guitar. Going to install Martin Retros’ on my 0015 tomorrow. I’ve waited to try them because I keep reading how long they take to break in and I’m not very patient :) now that I have three guitars I figure I can play them in little by little. Also waiting to here what Trump is going to say here in a few minutes. Jim Edit:I just put the retros on. Don’t sound bad from the start. Looking forward to them wearing in. |
