Nate Lopez on an Emerald 8 string

Peghead nation just posted a video they made with Nate Lopez talking about the custom 8 string X20 I built for him.
I thought you guys would probably want to see it.

You know I just love the opportunity to build these sort of instruments.

That guitar is just soooo cool! Alistair, you are in a league all your own among guitar designers and builders, regardless of the build medium. Your ability to successfully, cost-effectively customize to the wildest of imaginations is impressive...unlike any others. Congratulations! Nate sure knows how to play to the strengths of the guitar!

Wow! An incredible instrument and incredible play.

This video also confirms one of my long-held beliefs about Alistair's guitars--they have super sweet necks. The ease with which this player moves through the fret board is incredible.

Very cool stuff. I wouldn't be able to play it, but it definitely sounds good in his hands. Dirty bass. I see he uses a neckup too, best thing I bought for my guitar.
