00 with cutaway?

Has anyone heard of a company that makes these without having to have a custom guitar made?

Maybe not what you’re after but there’s a 1929 00 cutaway at Sylvan music in Santa Cruz. They are well respected.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check it out.

I wa sjust playing my kids RP2-626C 00 cutaway tonight.

I had a 90's SCGC 00 cutaway. Sitka/IR.
Super nice looking and fun to play.
My friend talked me out of it one weak day when I asked him to come over and see a different guitar I had for sale.
Wanting to please him I took a $150 loss not remembering the shipping/fees when I informed him how much it cost me.
He uses it all the time so I get to see it.
It had a narrow nut anyway, so all is well.... 1.6875".

Not bad guitars, either. Particularly for the $$$.

Are you looking for the exact dimensions of a Martin 00 style, or just something roughly that size? If it's the latter, check out the Gibson Parlor Rosewood (formerly known as Gibson HP 665). It's a similar size though a somewhat different shape from a 00.

I think Martin made a really, really cool Women in Music 00 with a cutaway a while back. If your budget supports, you should see if you can find one. It had a deeper body and I've always wanted to check one out. You might also look for a used Seagull "Folk" model cutaway, which sounds good, plays well, will be a lot cheaper than the Martin and is about the same size as a 00.

so 00 is grand concert size. Taylor makes
quite a few in cutaway models. anything
ending in 12ce will be this size. Like 712ce.

no, thats misinformation. a CE is 2" wider than a 00 thats a pretty huge difference as well as the body being 1/4+ deeper and the body maybe 1/2" longer, these are pretty dramatic differences and could not possibly be used as a comparison.

And if you want the best.

I found a used Wingert 00 cutaway online. A search may reveal one out there somewhere. You could get a reasonable priced custom one made by Pono I believe.

Best,
Jayne

Thanks to all. I didn't see the RP2-626C 00 on Recording King's website, so I sent them an email. I had the pleasure of playing one of those Women and Music guitars a few years back. Really nice! Kathy Wingert's guitars are way out of my price range. I'll check out Pono. On the Gibson website, it doesn't give the measurement of the lower bout or the depth or length for the Gibson Parlor Rosewood. It doesn't have to be the exact measurements of a 00, but somewhere near it. Thanks again.

Yeah, Gibson doesn't make it easy. I just measured mine:
lower bout width: 14-7/8"
depth at end pin: 3-5/8"
depth at neck block:3-3/8"
body length (from 14th fret to end): 18-1/2"

I think it's about the most comfortable acoustic guitar I've ever played, but YEMV (Your Ergonomics May Vary). :)
