J-45 standard 2018 dimensions
 

I just bought a J-45 and since I had trouble finding de complete specs for it before the buy, I thought I'd post them here

Nut witdth :

43mm or closer to 1 11/16 than 1 3/4

string spacing at nut :

roughly 37.7mm or about 1 15/32

(I usually don't like 1 11/16 nut guitars but the way it is set up it feels just slightly narrower than my 000-15sm which is supposed to be 1 3/4 but in reality a bit narrower at 44mm and with a nut string spacing of 1 1/2 inch.)

String spacing at bridge :

2 3/16

Fingerboard width at the 14th fret neck joint :

2 1/8

Body size

at the upper neck joint area :

3 7/8

at the end pin deepest area

4 5/8


With the light strings it came with, the short scale and low action its playability is superb. Perhaps a bit quiet (it is certainly not louder than my 000-15sm). I may put mediums when I change the strings. But as it is, super responsive to light fingerstyle.
