I'm looking for an OM under $1,500

I知 looking for a good quality OM body guitar. I知 looking to spend less than $1500, and I知 hoping the guitar has a solid body with some bling; if the guitar is nice sounding I知 willing to look at guitars with laminate back and sides.

If I had the money I壇 buy the Takamine ef75, but that guitar sells for $3k + used. I also like the sound of Martin痴 OM28, but that guitar is just too plain looking for me. I don稚 mind if the bling is wood or abalone based, as long as the guitar has some nice decorative details. I知 also fine with sunburst guitars. Here are some of the guitars that I知 looking at and I知 hoping ya値l could help me expand the list. Thank you in advance.

Crafter TM 035
Crafter LX T-2000e (I知 not sure of the price but I知 guessing it will be less than $1500)
Cort Gold 08 (sunburst)
Gopherwood k910RE
Sigma SOMR-45
Sigma S000R-41 Limited

It seems that it meets your aesthetic needs nicely and will sound much better than you other listed options.

Take a look at the many models of OM that Eastman has to offer - at least ten in your price range, all solid wood. Not an awful lot in the way of bling, however.

Eastman E20-OM-TC. Or the one without a torrefied top, Eastman E20-OM. :)

Nice OM for 1500$ ?

Could get a used one that sells 2000-2500 brand new...

Anyway : Taylor Academy, Larrivee OM-03, Martin OMCPA4 come to mind.

Larrivee OM-40 or 40R (mahogany or rosewood).

Yep, or the OM-03 or OM-05 but you can't go wrong with a Larrivee.

And in what universe is a OM-28 too plain looking???

I know, I get a lot of that, and I'm sure it is a lovely guitar in the eyes of many. Unfortunately, it is just not my taste. It does sound really good though, but that price, ouch. haha

Agree on the Larrivee love, picked up a 2003 OM 03 for about 」500 - play it every single day - great bang for your buck guitars

Like the looks or not, where can you get an OM28 for less than $1500?

The Eastman is a well made guitar, but they are short scale, which to me isn't OMish.

I'd love a used Larrivee OM-05. Every one I've played has been stellar.

Another vote for Larrivee OM's. Great quality and you get a lot for your money (new or used).

This is my only problem with Eastman's OM...the short (24.9") scale length.
