2016 Baxendale Deep Body 00 TRADED
I recently traded with a forum member for this fantastic guitar. I have enjoyed playing it, but find that I'm really much more comfortable with a dreadnought sized guitar.
Wonderfully light and beautifully voiced,, this guitar is a delight to play. JC Baxendale is a second generation luthier currently building in his shop in Colorado. As a reference, he currently has four instruments for sale at Cotton Music. The attention to deal and beautifully carved bracing are a testament to his craftsmanship. The guitar can be very loud without breakup or soft and pretty. It is remarkably responsive. Honduran Mahogany back and sides. Adirondak Spruce top. Adirondak scalloped bracing. Fingerboard and Bridge - Ebony (diamonds and squares inlay at 5-7-9) Neck is Honduran Mahogany (with an adjustable truss rod) Headstock overlay is Madagascar Rosewood. Waverly tuners with tortoise buttons. Tortoise body binding and pick guard 28 style back center strip Finish is nitrocellulose. Nut width is 1 3/4” Scale is 24.9” This guitar comes in a TKL double arch (top and bottom) with burgundy interior. Body depth at heel and end graft, por favor?
|
She's 4-3/8" at the end graft, I'll have to measure the depth at the neck heel.
thanks, Keith |
What is the measured string spacing at the saddle?
Thanks, Ce. |
I'll have to measure when I get home. I believe that it's either 2-1/4" or 2-3/8"
Thanks, Keith |

Very nice
Nice one Keith! A 12-fret 00 with this pretty burst should not last long here. GLWTS
