My Peterson StroboClip will never go camping with me again...
I feel like I've been living under a rock...

Full disclosure: I did have to remove the metal clip and bend it a bit to insure a tight fit. I guess, also, I never considered taking my ceder top Seagull camping; I've only just recently bought my first "camping guitar". |
A pitch pipe works just great for camping...

I find them to be the easiest tuner to use. I have one for every guitar.

If you want to be cool, you use a tuning fork. It is surprising how easy they are to use - as long as it is quiet around you.

I have these in two guitars and they are very convenient and you never leave them behind by accident as I have with Snarks and Petersons.
But they are a pale competitor to a Peterson for sure. They are useful on a camping trip, I suppose, or if you have left your Peterson behind, but I almost always find them fussy and marginally accurate IMHO. |
