2005 Tom Bills Gensis in redwood/EIR $old
 

Ok, now that my Circa is off the its new owner, I figured I would de-clutter and start a new thread. Here's my Tom Bills Genesis in mastergrade redwood/EIR. An incredible guitar with a tone like no other and an amazing build quality to match.

It is in excellent condition, with two small dings on the top and a little finish issue just off the 10/11 o'clock position of the bridge. The worst of it is bit of finish wear on the bottom of the sides on either side of the end pin. I think it reacted to a guitar stand, but was never told the full story, and it doesn't bother me enough to figure out a repair. Structurally it is perfect.

I got this posted on Reverb after dragging my feet for $xxxx, which was my original asking price. Because a private sale will avoid some fees, the new asking price is $old plus shipping and fees.

These instruments do not come up for sale very often and rarely at these prices. A master builder that commands thousands more for a new instrument and a long build schedule. If you do any research, you'll discover why Tom Bills is highly regarded.

I owned one of these years ago, and they are very cool and unique instruments. The sensation of having all the sound come straight out near your ear is really fun, and the bass response is amazing.

Last I knew (a few years ago at least), Mr. Bills guitars started at $18,000. Someone is really going to enjoy this beauty.

Thanks for the comments! It's true, Tom is an incredible builder. His current base price is $25,000, which I am sure prices out almost all of the market. Here's a chance to get one and save tens of thousands of dollars and skip the 2- to 3-year-long build list.

I have never heard of Tom Bills and just looked him up. Wow! He builds some amazing guitars!
