What are your favourite Waves plugins?

Waves is running now an ever going sale, ALL their plugins can be bought for around $24 at some retailers like everyplugin with YNY23 code.

This is a good opportunity to ask about your favourite Waves plugins.

I like Vitamin which can add extra sparkle to a dull acoustic, RVox - easy and good sounding vocal compressor, CLA Mixdown to put on a master bus and compress everything a bit, GW VoiceCentric to polish vocals quickly.

What are yours?

Here is the two day sale. No special code needed.

I currently have and use the Renaissance Maxx bundle

Might have some interest in trying the demo of:
H-Reverb Hybrid Reverb

The code is to pay $23.90 instead of $29 directly from Waves.

Ah, I see. You will have to sign up with the Everyplugin website to see and I would assume use the code. Providing links in posts is useful.

As I posted above the H-Reverb Hybrid Reverb is of some interest to me.

I have the H-Reverb and I think it's a really good algorithmic reverb but a bit CPU intensive especially on older computers like mine.

I use these three alot...

Renaissance Reverb
H Comp
H Delay

Waves API-2500 and H-Reverb are both go to plugins for me. The API 2500 is particularly effective on the master bus and H-Reverb combines the best of IRs and algorithms.

Renaissance Channel is a fantastic way to accomplish a whole lot with low processor overhead.
Renaissance EQ is a great set of EQs.
Renaissance Bass is a great subharmonic synthesizer for kick and bass.

I like the MV2 a lot

I also like that their U.S. headquarters is in my little hometown and only a few miles from my childhood home.

I have the Diamond Bundle
Which has a bunch including the Renaissance EQ and Reverb which I used to use regularly but only rarely now.
The H-Delay is about the only one I still use.

The L-2 bus limiter was the first of its kind, they'll always be noteworthy for that. For a while, if you didn't have it you weren't in the game.

I used to use the L2 until I found the Massey L2007 (mac only I believe)

I'm not a regular heavy reverb user, but I like their Abbey Road Reverb, though I use none of the presets.

And with some embarrassment I'll say the other Waves plug in I use at times is the "CLA Vocals" plug in, which is sold as a quick'n'easy way for beginners to get Chris Lord-Alge's vocal sound. Once again, I don't use the presets, I just bring up the default console of sliders and work things while using my ears. I'm not really after the Lord-Alge sound or anything, but it's very fast way to compress/EQ and add a little wet&width to a male vocal in a rock-band context. Since my current project requires fast production for many tracks it's a way for me to take a just passably recorded vocal track and make it sit better in the mix.

The Andrew Schepps Omni channel strip is a simply superb plugin. The more I use it the more impressed I am.

The new Sibalance plugin works very well also.
