#Chords Help#

Hey, my name is Boosh and I am totally new to these forums.
In fact, this will be my first post so forgive me if it’s in the wrong place (whenever I join a new forum I always feel like I’ve joined the party a bit too late u know what I mean?)

Anyway, truth is I don’t even have an acoustic guitar, but I am looking to buy one in the near future. The real reason I’m on this forum is because there don’t seem to be any electric or general forums that can fulfil my wishes.

Basically, what has happened is I have been writing some stuff, and have been fiddling around on the finger board, creating little variations on the base chords.
Thing is, having only been teaching myself for about 7 months, my knowledge of the more complex chords is very limited.
Using my knowledge on the keyboard I think I have SOME idea about what chords it is I am actually playing, but if anybody on these forums could clarify that up for me then I would be very grateful.
So below are the fingerings, and the chords I think I am playing:

e – 0
B – 0
G – 0
D – 0 I think this one may be ‘G6’
A – 2
E – 3

e – 0
B – 0
G – 2
D – 2 I think this one may be ‘A add9’
A – 0
E – 0

e – 0
B – 0
G – 0
D – 2 I think this one may be ‘C maj7th’
A – 3
E – 0

e – 0
B – 1
G – 2
D – 3 I think this one may be ‘F maj7th’
A – 0
E – 0

e – 0
B – 3
G – 2
D – 0 I think this one may be ‘D add9’
A – 0
E – 0

e – 3
B – 3
G – 0
D – 2 I think this one may be ‘C add9’
A – 3
E – x

e – 3
B – 3
G – 0
D – 0 I think this one might just be an alternative fingering for‘G’
A – 2
E – 3

e – 0
B – 1
G – 3
D – 2 I think this one may be ‘C7’
A – 3
E – x

e – 0
B – 1
G – 0
D – 2 And I have absolutely no idea what this one is...
A – 3
E – 3

I know there’s a lot there, but I just need to know what they are so I can write it all down before somebody else steals it off me lol
Obviously, if I'm being cheeky in asking you to do this then just tell me to get lost haha
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Boosh, welcome to the forum.

You have the correct names for most of the chords. The very last one is C major with G in the bass, sometimes written as C/G.

For your C7 chord, you can also play the lower E open, since C7 contains the E note already.

that's reassuring to know I guess.
Altohugh judging from the speed you replied at, I've a lot of fluency to learn!

I've posted this site a few times before, but one more time won't hurt...

this'll tell you the chord names, as long as you know the root.

This one's good too - you can pick the chord name or place the string/fret markers and search, and you can strum to hear how it sounds:

One of the really nice features is the ability to retune to an open tuning and take chord shapes for a 'test drive'

Worked perfectly with my pet Dm7 tuning
