Wow! Thanks for posting these videos. Can’t believe I don’t know Kenny Poole, his playing is right up there with other jazz chord melody greats. And the way Rory Hoffman plays is amazing.

Glad that you can dig all this. I ran across Kenny bout 10 years ago. You know he never wanted to do much more than play locally around Cincinnati and just a fabulous player. He sounds like 2-3 guitars but it's solo live. He played with thumb over neck to add all those bass lines. I read he would tune down as much as two whole steps. Cincinnati was a hotbed of musicians. don't know if that is still true.

i'm originally from the dayton area so i know the queen city quite well--or at least i used to. ha!
