Beautiful workmanship and woods

TONE and playability are top notch! Nice videos of very similar JSBs online!
Jeff Bamburg instruments have sold at Dream Guitar, and The North American Luthier with excellent reviews!

Built in 2012 for the owner of Heart's Home Acoustic in San Antonio Texas. It certainly appears it was an investment axe, as it is virtually unplayed!

Comfort arm bevel, elevated Fretboard Extension for a freely moving top.
Jescar hard gold color frets, Gotoh 510 Minis with Ebony buttons, cutaway, "snakehead" headstock. Ameritage Silver OHSC.

When I received this guitar I realized it had barely been played. I hung it for a week with a Tone-Rite and it has already started to wake up! Hanging with it again until it goes...
It did need a bit of set up work, so I took it to my friend and tech, Pat Quinn, who works full-time as a Senior Tech at Taylor Repair in El Cajon. Pat worked for over 10 years doing full time setup and repair at San Diego's famed Blue Guitar before moving to Taylor Repair over 10 years ago. He also has his own shop at home. His setups are absolutely first class, as is his repair work.

This needed NO repairs, and appears it has never had any or any modifications, but it did receive a truss rod adjustment and some minor fret leveling as well as a slight action drop at the Bone Nut and more on the beautiful compensated Bone Saddle. Pat installed new Elixir Medium PB nanoweb strings. It now plays like butter. 6/64" and 4/64" action. Lots of height left to adjust at the saddle, too.

Only the slightest signs of being played, and no fret wear at all.

This is designed for FingerStyle but I took it to a dear friend who can really flatpick and he gave it a serious workout and raved about the tone and ease of play.

From Bamburg's website, which is very interesting:

Body Length: 19 7/8"
Upper Bout: 11 1/8"
Lower Bout: 15 7/8"
Depth @ Heel: 3 1/2 "
Depth @ Tail: 4 1/2"
Scale Length: 25.4" Nut Width: 1 3/4"
String Spacing: 2 1/4"

Why am I selling this so soon? I recently took this in a partial trade knowing it would need to go as I have another (#4) John Kinnaird Super Custom in progress!

It is a real honey of a guitar but I am just a 12 fret guy, and this is way too cherry for me to gig without worrying !!!

Save a bundle of moolah and a wait! You could be playing this one next week!
If you have been considering a Bamburg here is your chance. And in BRAZILIAN Rosewood, to boot.

Continental United States shipping only, due to the Brazilian RW

It will be beyond pro packed and shipped USPS third day Priority insured on my Heritage account. Signature required!

I am always happy to answer any questions or just talk guitars!
619-445-1189 home. 9-9 or so, west coast time thanks.

Play on gang!

Strings...

I was informed yesterday by another Bamburg owner that Jeff voices his guitars for Light gauge strings. Nice comfort factor!
Since I tune down to D concert and open D I figure the Mediums should be about right for me. YMMV...

This sounds GREAT, with a bit more snap than I anticipated from the Cedar top.
I will try to get some better pics of the very dark Brazilian back and sides.

Again, I am most happy to answer any questions and yak guitars!

Cheers

No affiliation with seller but I have played this very guitar before and I can tell anyone who’s interested that they’re getting the most balanced, easy playing and ‘professional feeling’ guitar I’ve ever played. This is truly a stunning instrument. Good luck!

Tuesday bump

Happy Tuesday to all

A couple folks interested but still here....

jeff Bamburg is quite highly regarded! And I can see why. This is continuing to open up beautifully as it hangs with the Tone-Rite.

It really is very VERY near mint.

Cheers
