E String "Jingle" on Martin 00-28

Hi,

Recently acquired a nice (newer) Martin 00-28 and notice that it has a jingle on the high E string when strummed open. Dealer strung it with Martin Lifespan SP 12's before sending to me. Any thoughts?

Also, I need a truss rod wrench for this guitar. Is an authentic Martin wrench the best ?

Thanks!

Probably the nut slot needs cleaning out on that high e string. I know some folks try to do all the set up work on their guitars themselves but when it comes to the maintenance of fine instruments there is no substitute for the help an experienced guitar tech can offer.

I think Jaden is correct. I bought an Ibanez with a high e string buzz (open), like an electric sound. Fret anything, it went away. Confirmed not at the tune-a-matic bridge. Finally realized the e string was excessively pinched in the inadequate slot. Opened up the slot a bit and it went away.
