I'm hoping the rumors of his demise are being greatly exaggerated!

What a musical genius of our time....haven't liked everything he's put out, but wow, has he nailed so many treasures! (along with Art)

Intriguing concept: a contemporary concept album! Remember those?

All acoustic, a seven-song cycle with recurring themes.

Bought the CD today; I’m holding off listening to it until it arrives.

Many’s the time I’ve been mistaken, but I have high hopes for this one.

I'll buy the idea: ageing rocker faces reality. It is a thirty-three minute, seven-movement suite without track indexes, meant to be listened to in-toto. It is about time someone put out a work with some depth. And modern psalmody at that. I loved to see the pump organ (harmonium) being used in the promo. I'm sitting about fifteen feet from one like it right now.

Amen to that Bob. Maybe this will be the forerunner of a new (or rediscovered) genre.

Wow, am I excited for this. And the full video. What I would give to spend a day in that guy's studio just watching and listening.

He was my nephew’s baseball coach! My sister in law, who is not a shrinking violet in the least, had a really tough time keeping the subject on baseball and not gushing away on him.

He is wearing an 1st generation Shure SRH440. My favorite headphones.

Thanks for sharing that news. Put me on the list to get one.
He had talked about this project in his audio book. Glad he got it all done.
I find it hard to believe Paul Simon has yet to be awarded with a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Lesser musicians than him have.

How wonderful to hear Paul playing more acoustic guitar! He has such amazing touch and feel for the instrument...

This looks really good, and it sounds like "a demanding listen"... I'm sure I'll get a copy of this sometime soon!

Hmmm...

My quandary is this..."Do I get vinyl, or stream it?"

it sure sounds interesting! I am looking forward to this. I saw him when he toured Rhythm of the Saints. One of the best concerts I have ever seen!
