“Wolves” Garth Brooks cover

This was recorded quickly this morning using my iPhone and playing my Taylor 510. The guitar is new and I wanted to see how it would record. So far I’m really liking the rich tones of the instrument. It has a sweetness that I had not experienced from a Taylor in the past. It is Lutz spruce over mahogany. The song is a bit sad. I guess it reflects my mood this time of year when Michigan starts losing its color, becomes gloomy, and winter is coming on just around the corner. Thanks for giving this a spin. Roger |
Very nice job, Roger! It is a sad song, but I understand why people write songs like this! And your new Taylor 510 sounds good!
I have a brother living in Michigan, just off the east side of Lake Michigan, and so I know from him and his emails how brutal the winters there can be. Then again, the snow can make some beautiful scenes for painting! :) Thanks for that Roger! - Glenn |
Thanks Glenn.
Yes, the area where your brother lives can get some brutal weather. In my area, it’s pretry moderate. I just need to complain a little as the season comes into focus. Then, I’m ok. Thanks for listening and commenting. I probably should have spent more time preparing and recording the song. Roger |
Brother...
Just well done. Great Vox. And a warm sweet sound from that Taylor indeed. |
You nailed that one, great job! Congrats on the new Taylor.

Sal, thanks so much...appreciate your input always.
TBman, thanks for listening and taking time to comment. I’m hoping the Taylor plays nice with the others around here. Roger |
