The guitar is in the home stretch, so I’m trying to eke out a couple more pics of Steve working. Here’s Steve fitting bridge pins. Riveting stuff!

Ryan told me that it came out prettier than I asked for: maybe that's why they decided to re-top it with cardboard. ;) Kidding aside, he also told me that it sounds great, so the strings are on and we should see pics of the finished product real soon, I hope. I can't wait to get my mitts on it!

Yes, for a second it looked they had given up and turned it into a cigar box guitar!
I think the last two Redwood guitars out of Kinnaird west have simply been amazing. Congrats Stan and a well done to the Kinnaird shop! Trust me Stan, you do not have to worry about the sound, if you don't like it you can talk to me and I will take it off your hands! |
A few last minute cosmetic changes coming, but basically it's done!

Very pretty guys. I’m betting it sounds great too

That FS model is such a perfect size. It looks very comfortable as Steve plays it. The top is such a pretty color.

I’m sure it goes without saying, but you will be so pleased when you get this home! Looks gorgeous!

Thank you, guys! I'm hoping to get this lovely thing home next week, before Thanksgiving, but life can be intense. I've got a dog that needs knee surgery badly, a wife with shoulder surgery coming up, and a sore tooth. Crossing my fingers that I can put off the root canal for a couple of months.

It's finished! Ryan shot some outdoor pics in sunlight to make the colors pop, and don't they pop! If all goes as planned, I'll bring this beauty home on Tuesday. This shot shows how beautifully the selected woods harmonize. I'm especially happy with the Texas ebony fingerboard and bridge, the bubinga rosette, and all of the curly mahogany details.
