1956 Gibson J-50...price lowered
Want a great sounding old Gibson without breaking the bank? This '56 J-50 is a strong guitar with fabulous tone. Recent neck set, playability is outstanding. Repaired center seam (reinforced strip along seam ..like the type used on the back) and wood patch under the pick guard corner. Otherwise, a great sounding and playing example. Supposedly , the best woods were used on the J-50's since they were natural tops. Nice full neck profile . Has the Gibson midrange bark, sweet trebles and a stout low end. Retro relic'd Klusons but I have originals.
$3750 net to me, shipped in CONUS. http://i64.tinypic.com/2jg07kn.jpghttp://i67.tinypic.com/sb6h3o.jpghttp://i67.tinypic.com/35ch7r8.jpghttp://i65.tinypic.com/mukcie.jpghttp://i63.tinypic.com/28mn04i.jpghttp://i66.tinypic.com/2w4cqjq.jpg |
Great year for J-50s -- and first for the batwing pickguard. Good luck with the sale.
