Kostal MDW German/Pernambuco
 

I don't have a ton to go on at the moment, but what I can tell you is that my spot in the queue is impending and we have already picked out wood. This will be Jason's first Pernambuco guitar to my knowledge. The only guidelines we decided upon in advance was that he was to do whatever he wanted, so I'm excited to see what he comes up with! That rosette and the Bashkin style position markers are stunning. I saw it on Facebook a couple of weeks ago.

Congrats! I’m waiting on the latest update on my German/Koa OMC, hopefully it will be finished in the next 8-10 weeks.

So you are the lucky soon-to-be owner of that MDW! I've been very intrigued when Jason said on social media he is about to build his first guitar made of that wood.

Now you add a strikingly beautiful rosette and my favorite model (MDW), and I'm keen on following along!

What a set of Pernambuco! Has Jason build any other Pernambuco guitars?
Also, that rosette and, especially, the fret markers are fantasmorical. But then, aren't all of Jason's rosettes?
