Martin 0-18 1946 -- Video Added!! SOLD on eBay!
Rare Martin 0-18 from 1946 mahogany back and sides, 72 years old with a recent neck reset from Nicholson's Music in Folsom, CA.

The action at the 12th is a hair under 3/32" and 2/32" respectively and the bone saddle and bridge are new. The frets are in great shape as shown in the photo above. Nicholson's cleated the top cracks and used hide glue throughout and also glued one crack on the bottom. The blemishes on the bottom next to the endpin are cosmetic discolorations and of unknown origin but inconsequential. The top is a 4 piece adirondack top and is very rare. The headstock has the larger CFMartin logo and the tuners are Grover replacements. There is wear on the lower waist (see photo) and some lighter wear on the back of the neck. There appears to be pick wear on the left upper bout (photo). The serial number is 97003. The Geib case is a newer one (2009) with the plush maroon interior, model 12C515, and the 0-18 fits perfectly. All 6 latches and leather handle are in excellent shape (exterior tags are still on the handle).
The bridge plate is maple and the interior of the guitar looks very clean. Straight bracing, non-scalloped, tapering to sides, 1-11/16" nut width and 2-1/8" string spacing at the saddle low E to high E.
The tone is a very loud, woody tone with fantastic projection and power, currently strung with D'Addario 12-53 lights PBs. Asking price is reduced! $3,595 or best offer. May entertain a trade for a larger body size Martin (dreadnought, 000, or OM).
