2021 Iris DF Aged Adirondack $sold
 

I recently picked up a second mahogany slope shoulder and don't need two. I ordered this in March of '21 and received in September '21. Purchased an aged Adirondack top from Allied Lutherie which was used in the build. The top is not thermocured, but reportedly cut 20+ years ago. Mahogany back. 1.75" nut. Ivoroid bindings with matching Golden Age tuners. Bone bridge pins (originals will be included) Added Schatten HFN passive pick-up. The guitar is in excellent condition with the exception of three small pick marks above the sound hole and a few more below and on the pickguard. (See the last two pictures) The two marks below the bridge are slight bear claw in the wood and not damage. Includes OHSC. Asking $sold including PayPal fees and shipping. I have insurance covered through Heritage.

Wow. I heard they were 12-14 months out but I thought that was on new orders. Iris makes very nice guitars and they are worth the wait. I picked up a Gibson J35 Collectors Edition with 1.77" nut. I like the feel of the wider neck. I could easily keep both but I have something else I would like to get.

Very nice. I had a IRIS AB and it was awesome. That's what prompted me to get a custom DF. However it's been 14-15 months already on a 10 month waiting period. At this point I will probably sell it once it's delivered since in that time I've already found some other pieces of gear I'd rather keep. I predict now that IRIS is fulfilling orders, we will start seeing alot more used pieces hit this market. Great guitars.
