Pendennis 00-14 alpine/maple
I recently picked up the guitar Andreas Köpke built for me:
http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%231.jpg alpine spruce with toner http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%232.jpg flame maple with toner, ebony back strip, snakewood heelcap http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%233.jpg tortoise binding http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%234.jpg output jack separate from strap pin (made from snakewood) http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%235.jpg fine-grained spruce http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%236.jpg I call the guitar "Arielle". Shell inlay, headstock bound in tortoise. Nut width 46,5 mm. http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%237.jpg Schaller GrandTunes with snakewood buttons on ebony veneer. I should have specified a less shiny/blingy finish for the tuners. http://pygmytwylyte.org/pubpics/Arielle/arielle%238.jpg EVO frets, 2 mm pearl dots. Scale length is 630 mm. Obviously, I'm in love with this thing. Sounds terrific. |
Very nice guitar... some very nice fretwork as well!

Gorgeous maple and top toner.... nice!

A beautiful guitar both visually and acoustically. Congratulations!
This crisp tone (knackig) is typical for maple, with beautiful complexity from the alpine spruce. Enjoy! |
Very nice guitar and wonderful playing. Congrats!

WOW! I believe you picked the perfect guitar for your style of playing. Love the Maple clarity in the first two strings. This guitar definitely suits your classical upbringing very well. Solid defined notes. Great playing!
|
Congrats on your new guitar...
|
That’s really nice!
|
Nice sounding guitar ... and great playing. What a gorgeous tune (The Boatman) and arrangement ... wow!

Thanks! Much appreciated!

Beautiful guitar
That maple neck with the ebony back veneer REALLY looks great. Something about the color scheme on that segment is inspiring. |
