Is This Neck Separation Ok?
Hey Guys,
So I have been traveling with this CA Cargo for like 6 months now and weather condition wise it has been through absolute HELL!!! freezing snow, humidity, dry heat, salt you name it. its been an utter champion. However I recently noted that there is a small gap at the base of the neck and am worried if i need to get it repaired ASAP or if I can afford to leave it for another 6 months while i continue to travel. No idea what specifically is causing it. https://goo.gl/photos/QV5GwyDgdKZiXGFC9 https://goo.gl/photos/WvBe3nNPDhPrXjwEA Any help would be hugely appreciated. Regards, Simon |

I wouldn't worry unless you notice it getting worse or humping up, its a minor repair but you have to have the right tools.....
|
Oh awesome thats good news. it does not look like its getting any worse.
Thanks for that. Cheers, Simon |

Sorry to make this thread political! Really, trust Ted! Ted, thanks for stepping in to save heavy and I from a potential lawsuit. :) |
You don't say whether this is an old or a new Cargo. If it's a new one, I would definitely get in contact with Peavey. It's serious when any part of a guitar starts to fall apart. Even if it's an old CA version, I'd talk with Peavey--this is an interesting problem and one worth running down. Good luck.
