TCH BodyRez vs Old Rockman Acoustic Guitar Pedal

Wondering about similarities in what they do and sound. I have the old Rockman Acoustic pedal which does 'improve'/modify the sound of an piezo PU acoustic, but have wondered if the BodyRez is about the same with less control.
The Rockman does have compression which I'm not sure if the BodyRez has or not.

As I understand it the Body Rez does utilise compression so the more you turn up the knob the more added resonance and compression there is in the signal.

I love mine and use it with the knob at around 12 o’clock. I haven’t used the Rockman so can’t compare the two I’m afraid.

The Body Rez at full sweep of the dial to the right will give you a solid punching bass line. Its not meant for that, its for taking Piezo quack and reducing it, so they have a bunch of algorithms they use. But I assure you that on full, it will add a definite punch to your guitar.

For really adding bass the Boss OC3 can dial in specific volumes of lower octaves to a range of notes on the guitar, that gives you a bass player.

Try out the Body Rez if you can, the Rockman, no idea.
