Getting a custom tele neck built
 

How does this sound . My walnut thinline is getting a ebony on walnut neck .10” radius ,50s gibson lesPaul profile ,21 vintage frets can’t wait for March

A company called amj guitars . It’s about 2hour drive from my place . It’s gonna be killer in the walnut thinline body that’s coming in the mail

I have used the walnut/ebony neck combination before and it worked very well with a cherry body .

I had Warmoth make me a one-piece, quartersawn Strat neck with ‘59 Les Paul neck carve, stainless steel frets, and 1.75” nut spacing. Topped off with the vintage-toned nitro lacquer, it is quite beautiful and toneful. I basically wanted the compound radius Eric Johnson spec neck but with wider string spacing, a Gibson-esqe hand feel, and staggered locking tuners — and that’s exactly how it turned out.
