Incoming NGD
On the truck NGD
Just ordered online NGD
Soon NGD
On the way NGD

Whatever happened to the I actually have a guitar in my hands NGD?:)

OK…if I ever post a NGD…I promise to only post it on the very day I receive it….

Or at least within the first week.

I don't know, but those "premature" NGDs sure are exciting waypoints. I am totally sympathetic to those who cannot contain their excitement at, say, winning a bid on ebay for example. Or just "pulling the trigger."

What is NOT a NGD is this beauty I bought over 5 years ago, and she's STILL on honeymoon! :D

Does it really matter?

Not really. But it amuses me. Maybe we just need a new acronym. How about ANGD. Almost new guitar day.

I bet the guys who post those ‘NGC’ (New Guitar Coming) posts were once the kids in the back seat of their parents’ cars asking, “Are we there yet?” the whole journey! :wink::ha:

Maybe we could use a three tiered system:

TANG – Thinking About a New Guitar
BANG – Bought A New Guitar
PANG – Playing A New Guitar

People get excited. It's NBD.

I’ve sent back a few to many guitars to post a NGD. It sometimes turns out to be a NNGD - no new guitar day.

These days I’m all about NGD - No GAS day ...for now

Who cares? People who are excited about guitars is what this forum is about. I’m fine with them expressing that excitement anyway they want.
