Huss & Dalton Road Edition Slope Dread at The Fretted Buffalo!

We have here a Huss & Dalton DS 'Road Edition', from our friends, the world class guitar builders from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia! All the power and clarity you're looking for in a dreadnaught, but without many of the 'extras' that you may not need and don't necessarily want to pay for!

It features a nicely quarter sawn AA Sitka top and Mahogany for the back and side set. The bridge and bound fingerboard are Rosewood. As with all Huss & Dalton guitars, the bridge plate is built with Honduran Rosewood, chosen for its hardness to improve sound distribution across the top as well as to resist sting ball end wear.

Huss & Dalton "Road Series" guitars are a great value from one of the leading boutique guitar builders in the US! Road Series guitars are produced in very limited runs, and may lack the "bling" of other Huss & Dalton builds. However, they offer the opportunity to enjoy a world class guitar at a much more affordable price! Road Series guitars exhibit the same high degree of attention to detail as all other Huss & Dalton guitars.

The Fretted Buffalo is a leading authorized dealer of this 'boutique' American guitar company!

H&S Slope Dred

Can you tell me a little about the sound of this guitar. Say compared to a D-18? What is is scale length, neck shape and string size/set up.

I used to visit a large acoustic boutique shop that had hundreds of high end acoustics and I would run the wall to find the best sounding acoustic in the store at any time and on serval visits it was a Huss and Dalton dred that tickled my fancy.

feel free to PM about the details as I may be interested.
