Nice progress on a beauty, Bob!!!

Thanks Fred. Not sure where Jason is at with his hand healing and if we are still in a holding pattern or back on track.
|
We're moving along as Jason seems to be back to 100%. Here's the body with neck attached ready to go to finish. I gave Jason free license to come up with what he thought would go best with the Koa and German spruce combination, very happy with the results.

That is crazy cool! You have to be going mad with anticipation. Jason seems to be, at least in the interviews I’ve seen, a kind laid back guy with laser beam focus on detail. Which I guess you’d expect that kind of focus from a former Spec. Forces guy.

I saw it on Jason's Instagram and I really like the outcome.
Also happy for you that the build is getting closer to completion. That being said, enjoy the anticipation :) Cheers, |
Woohoo
Looking BEAUTIFUL!
I loved meeting Jason and playing his instruments at tom Bsox BIG guitar fiesta Have fun and enjoy this in fine spirits! Paul |
In the finish booth with lacquer on the back and sides, the koa is looking really nice. I'm sure it will be even better in person.

Looking just great Bob, this will be well worth the wait I promise you! And, built by one of the great guys in the business.
|
Much in agreement that your koa is beautiful, but your german spruce looks magnificent! Can't wait to see your finished gem, congrats!
|
That guitar is coming together beautifully Bob. Pretty soon it will be in your hands!
|
Oof... that looks killer.
