Thank you very much Steve san.
It's hard not to drool on the wood:P
So do I. It's a huge honor for me to be there and see great makers like you!

I'm excited to see your guitars at the show. I've really been enjoying what you've been showing us here on the forum.

I agree Ryo. Very nice work. Your esthetic is excellent.

I look forward to seeing you at WILS as well.

Everything about these Kobayashi guitars appeals to me, I would love to get my hands on one to try...but likely never will!

I am continually knocked out but your designs, and your woodworking skills. You seem to have found the perfect balance between clean, yet artistic sensibilities that I can't help but admire. This guitar is just another reflection of that balance.

Nice work as always, Ryosuke! I've always loved that granadilla back and side set you had in your inventory ;)
And another thing I noticed - great idea putting the side braces on in the small area where the curve changes from a convex curve to a concave curve of the waist; very clever!

Ryo...
That Grandillo is stunning. It's strikingly similar to a set of Katalox that Steve Sheriff (Edwinson Guitars) used a couple of years ago, in a build that Tom Bowersox might remember 😋

I absolutely fell in love with that guitar, and I'll be following along here because I'm falling in love all over again 😍

Thank you for sharing this build with us all.

Joel

Wow. Thank you very much!
I owe lots of lots of things to my great mentor, Sergei de Jonge.

Thanks Zach!
I got lucky;)
The straight part of the sides is the weakest part as you know.
And to make the part stiff makes it way easier to scrape after the body is assembled.

Thanks! Did you get maple sets from the supplier I told you?

Outstanding. I love the bevel treatment you did around the sound port!!! How will the granadillo hold up as a figure board vs. ebony?
