Ward (Regal) archtop

Just purchased this 1930s archtop and it will arrive this week. Built by Regal and marketed by Montgomery Ward, it is x-braced and has solid rosewood back and sides. 15 1/2" lower bout. Top may well be carved, we shall see. Anybody have any info on these?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6595aac96d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9761bb6abb.jpg

Top is carved spruce, sides are solid rosewood, back looks to be laminated rosewood, not sure. Featured in the 1935 Montgomery Ward catalog (third guitar on the right in the attached image).https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...324f0ec795.jpg

Wow my friend. Congrats. That is one sweet vintage A Top. Brazilian B&S to boot. That Guitar looks like it was made around same time in the 1930s when Bacon & Day made some highly ornate —top quality Arch tops. I believe Regal Craftsman possibly made those for Bacon. If so. The hands that crafted those probably made your soon to arrive beauty!
