Nov/Christmas DADGAD Workshop

I'll be teaching an online (Zoom) workshop Nov 29 (Sunday), 3PM Pacific time. The topic this time will be 2 Christmas tunes, fingerstyle, both using DADGAD tuning. Cost is $20.

First, we'll explore an easy arrangement of Away in a Manger, designed to let you elaborate and enhance the tune on the fly, and we'll talk about how to do that. Then we'll dig into a slightly more advanced tune, my arrangement of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, which has some nice jazzy chords. We'll look at the arranging process for this tune - how I got to the finished arrangement - as well as the walking through the full version of the tune. You can listen/watch the tune below.

Tab will be provided for both tunes a day or two before the workshop. The Zoom link will also be provided before the workshop to all attendees.

I’m in because I really enjoyed the last workshop where we got instruction for learning Doug’s wonderful arrangement of For No One.

Doug - when I placed the order, the Event Brite site listed the event starting at 4pm PST.

Thanks so much for doing this!

That's odd. I just checked it and see 3PM, ending at 4. Maybe they had a clock glitch! in any case, definitely at 3. See you then!
