Kathy builds beautiful guitars ..I played one at an AGF Gathering that was sublime.......
Are the Back/sides Amazon Rosewood ?..you should have a WHAT'S THAT WOOD CONTEST..Could be a good promotion for your upscale Guitar shop:D
And........how about a peek at that top bracing pattern that Kathy uses ?

Keep guessing.. I am just posting the photos Kathy sends me..

Looks like Pau Ferro (aka morado, caviuna, Bolivian rosewood, ect.. though it is not actually rosewood.)

Keep guessing..

No guess here, only to say someone is going to be getting

Ooh, very cool. Looking forward to more progress shots on this one. That wood is indeed a tricky one though... it looks like a rosewood, but is rather light and orange for most of them... Cambodian, perhaps? Or it could be a very light Madagascar.

This is going to be amazing to watch!

I saw one of her guitars for sale a couple of months back and just went into GAS dreamland over it. It was that beautiful.

Someday... I WILL own a harp guitar!
