Jim Dunlop, rest in peace
A nice tribute: http://ultimateclassicrock.com/jim-dunlop-dies/

I first heard of him when he came out with an innovative capo. I use his picks (.88 nylon) every day. R.I.P.
|
Sad news. Used his capos back in the day. I’ve used his Tortex picks on electric guitar ever since they came out.

RIP Mr Jim Dunlop
I saw that he passed away today. :(
For years the only pick I really used was a JD 60mm Nylon. Jim, thanks for making my guitar sing. |
Well done, Sir!
|
I've used nothing but Jim Dunlop USA Nylon .88s for years and years. The man impacted my life every day. RIP, JD.

Jim’s company produced some outstanding products. Thanks JD. |
If the product had Dunlop on it...I trusted it.

I used to use Jim Dunlop resonator and mandolin strings - ust felt they were slightly higher tension than D'addario and the dobro strings had an .018" top, Seems they aren't available any more - or at least, in the UK.
