Need help with strap pin
 

I need to remove the strap pin of my Ovation 1111 (no electronics.....yet) in order to install a jack pin for my new pickup.

I have removed the Philip screw & the pin but I'm having problem from there. There is a nut between the end pin and the body and there is a 3-spoke starfish like nut inside the body. I tried to clamp on the outside nut & managed to get the 3-spoke nut free spining but how do I disconnect them in order to get down to a bare hole?

Any body has experience doing that?

Oh nevermind, I've figured that out with the help from an Ovation forum.
