How/where is everyone storing their hardshell cases?

I've got hardshell cases all over the floor. Some are leaning up against the wall. I need to figure out a solution. What is everybody doing?

Bite the bullet and but a vertical stand specifically for hardshell cases?

I'm thinking of selling a bunch of them and including the guitar for free. HSC= a PITA IMO.

I have a twin bed in my home office and I keep them under there.

I'm lucky. I have a gear closet.

I keep mine in the basement. They lean on the wall but I keep them off the floor with one of these.

I am fortunate, in that I can designate a bedroom for guitar and musical instrument storage. It helps for me to do this because I can also keep it temperature and humidity controlled. I realize this isn't what everyone can do, but it works for me.

I have a case stand, solid oak, built by Stand-Made in Much Wenlock, Shropshire, U.K. Very high quality, solid as a rock and, at my wife’s insistence, nice to look at. Keeps the cases off both the floor and wall. Mine is a five-case stand, but they build various sizes, and in several designs. Not cheap, but very nice indeed.

Same here. Allows for easy storage and it's easy to see it from across the room. That always makes me want to take one (or more) out to play them (vs the "if it's kept in the case I forget about them" crowd). They're sleeping safely (in their cases where they belong) when not in use and easy enough to get to? Double win!

All over the floor. One guitar is on a stand at all times, the rest are easy to get to. Putting multiple guitars out in harms way is not something I do. Putting them out of sight isn't either.

I just have mine leaning on a wall in a basement storage room. But I only have three hard cases and a Taylor gig bag, so it only takes up three feet of wall apace. Kind of like KevWind has his except without the nice wooden stand to set them on.

yes to the string swing

My acoustics are in the cases on a string swing in my "guitar" closet

My Electrics are in the cases on a shelf, leaning against an interior wall next to the studio room in the basement.
