Just checked out the ES-14-40C. A beautiful looking guitar. I have to say that the Braz Rosewood is some of the best I've seen in years.

I couldn't be more pleased with how the ES-14-40C has handled the years, Brent. It looks pretty close to Brand New, and yet I know it has been played. It is a true 99%+.

I have bent the sides and glued them onto the top and end blocks of the "Bluegrass" guitar I am building for Joe Helm. These pics are of the first two handset peone, and then of all 120 of them.

I used a crack mitigation side ribbon I haven't tried before and it seems like a winner in thickness, strength, color, and cost.

That was this morning, this is this afternoon.

Yesterday I failed to post after previewing this.

I wish I could pull the trigger on this 2004 ES-14-C (Schoenberg) with the testimonial you just gave it. Perhaps this needs to visit Texas in a couple of months if it is still around? That is some beautiful BRW to say the least.

My goodness, this ES-14c is outrageously beautiful!

What A Stash you have...

I am really looking forward to seeing what you bring to B.I.G. And hearing you play, too!!!

Thank you. I am very excited to play at B.I.G.

Looks Like I sold the ES-14 today! That was really quick.

Here's the P D with the back on:

The binding is complete on the P D and I am about to cut in the graft and the dovetail cavity.

So nice Bruce! I think I will go play a certain P000.

Having finished the basic woodwork, I moved Joe Helm's P-D into finish today.

Here's the head with sealer on it:

On this guitar, like a surprising proportion of my recent commissions, the logo will be the largest bit of ornamention on the guitar as there will be no fingerboard inlay. That’s almost always been the case with classical guitars, and it is also something I personally favor. I think most players can learn to know where their fingers are within a half inch over a less than 18” run, given years of practice AND being able to use their ears as a quide. Doesn’t sound so hard . . .

Here's the P-D with it's 4th of a projected 7 coats of Varnish, ready to scuff:

I got to hang with Bruce for a short visit last Wednesday. That little Pernambuco 0 is a really nice guitar. I think Bruce is taking it to B.I.G, if so I suggest those attending check it out. The Pernambuco Dreadnought looked wonderful, it would nice to be able to play in in a few weeks but that will most likely fall into the too hard category for an East Coaster like me.

Finally: check out this channel for upcoming Tree 000 content...

Fun shop to visit. Who would guess world topping guitars would be produced in the backyard shop like that right! Wonderful ambiance. The shop itself just feels good.

Congrats as I am assuming the tree content may eventually end up in Virginia???
