Just checked out the ES-14-40C. A beautiful looking guitar. I have to say that the Braz Rosewood is some of the best I've seen in years.

I couldn't be more pleased with how the ES-14-40C has handled the years, Brent. It looks pretty close to Brand New, and yet I know it has been played. It is a true 99%+.
I have bent the sides and glued them onto the top and end blocks of the "Bluegrass" guitar I am building for Joe Helm. These pics are of the first two handset peone, and then of all 120 of them. http://mojoluthier.com/LP19/JoeHelmD/2peone.jpg http://mojoluthier.com/LP19/JoeHelmD/120peone.jpg |
I used a crack mitigation side ribbon I haven't tried before and it seems like a winner in thickness, strength, color, and cost.

Looks Like I sold the ES-14 today! That was really quick. Here's the P D with the back on: http://mojoluthier.com/LP19/JoeHelmD/closedfront.jpg http://mojoluthier.com/LP19/JoeHelmD/closedback.jpg |
The binding is complete on the P D and I am about to cut in the graft and the dovetail cavity.

So nice Bruce! I think I will go play a certain P000.

Having finished the basic woodwork, I moved Joe Helm's P-D into finish today.
Here's the head with sealer on it: http://mojoluthier.com/LP19/JoeHelmD...dheadfront.jpg http://mojoluthier.com/LP19/JoeHelmD/sealedheadback.jpg |
That is a really nice piece of shell in the Sexauer logo! Looks great.

I got to hang with Bruce for a short visit last Wednesday. That little Pernambuco 0 is a really nice guitar. I think Bruce is taking it to B.I.G, if so I suggest those attending check it out. The Pernambuco Dreadnought looked wonderful, it would nice to be able to play in in a few weeks but that will most likely fall into the too hard category for an East Coaster like me.
Finally: check out this channel for upcoming Tree 000 content... |

Congrats as I am assuming the tree content may eventually end up in Virginia??? |
