It's always a pleasure to listen to you play and watch you work the keyboard, Eric!

Thanks for sharing with the AGF!

And what a great sound you get out of that guitar!

Forgive me Eric, I’m such a dolt when it comes to technology...
I’m guessing that’s a small diaphragm condenser mic?, and is it plugged directly into your camera? Is there more gear than that? I’m so interested in learning how to do a good sounding video and have absolutely no clue where to begin. Not intended to hijack your thread, just so impressed with the quality of your test video.

Hi Frankie,
Well, a short version of the long answer is that I'm recording the audio into my iMac with two microphones on a stand in front of the guitar in a "mid/side" pattern. The top mic (the "mid") is indeed a small diaphragm AKG 451, and the bottom mic (the "side") is an AKG 414. The camera is also recording the audio with its built-in mic. Both are imported into logic so I can sync them both to the video, but then the camera mic's audio file is deleted so you're only hearing the external mics. I'm certainly no expert at this, just learning all this myself still.

Thank you for the reply, Eric. It sounds and looks terrific. If this is you in the learning stage I can’t wait to see the next video from you.
Thanks again.

The sound is really crystal clear and the video camera is so detailed. I back awat too much on my videos I think. I don't want people to see how old I really am so I back it off...LOL

Great job

Listened to Blues for Freida too...sweet

Quite a few tunes on Show and Tell have had the Irish feel this week. Maybe because the Open Championship is over there this year.
I love this old Irish Tune, and I like your version of it.
Well done!!
