Huss and Dalton OM Custom - Sinker Redwood/Mahogany

2 Attachment(s)
This pre-owned Huss and Dalton (2017) custom OM with its unique and visually striking sinker redwood top, is stunning. The custom bloodwood binding on the body and fretboard, as well as the gold tuners and shell rosette add to its beauty. The redwood top allows for a quick response while its mahogany back and sides provide balance and midrange punch. This guitar is extremely responsive and clear, with its clarity evident down through its ample bass. There is no muddiness in this guitar! It is exceptionally light weight and comfortable to play, with Huss and Dalton's comfortable, fast neck. The attention to detail makes this guitar a work of art as well as a versatile musical tool, and it is in wonderful condition with minimal signs of use.

National M-1 Tricone 2010

*This guitar has sold*

Now, this is a cool guitar! This wood bodied National tricone has a warm, rich and very deep sound, with amazing sustain. It is very versatile and musical, great for slide, but also surprisingly great when played fingerstyle or with a pick. Compared to metal bodied tricones, this instrument is smoother and warmer, with less bite and metallic "zing". Another plus is that it weighs a good three pounds less than a comparable metal bodied tricone. It is in excellent playing shape, with action that works for fretting or slide. There is a scratch in the finish, noticeable if you look closely at the photos but not from a distance. There are also some light finish issues, consistent with this guitar's age. It comes with its original hard shell case.

Larrivee D-40R

Larrivee guitars have a well-earned reputation as excellent, boutique quality instruments with reasonable prices. This guitar, from Larrivee's rosewood Legacy series and made with all solid woods, is a wonderful example of exceptional quality and great value. It is loud, warm, responsive to flat picking or finger style and very musical, and can easily hold its own against much more expensive spruce and rosewood dreadnoughts. It has upscale looks with its maple binding and satin finish, and comfortable playability with a great set-up and well shaped neck. This one was previously a floor model and feels brand new, with only minimal evidence that it has ever been played. This is a wonderful dreadnought, regardless of price. Given this price point, it is a steal.

Santa Cruz 000

Hi friends, happy (and hopefully peaceful) Election Day!

This pre-owned 000 model from the Santa Cruz Guitar Company has been customized with a short (24.75") scale length, resulting in very comfortable playing experience. It also has the Adirondack bracing and hot hide glue option, which, along with its light build, adds to the incredible responsiveness that Santa Cruz's are known for. The old growth Sitka Spruce has beautiful silking, and herringbone trim and ivoroid binding give this handsome guitar a classic look. This wonderful instrument has so much warmth and woodiness - you feel like you are playing a 70 or 80 year old guitar as opposed to one that is only a few years old. The neck angle and saddle are perfect, and there are only very minimal signs of wear. With the K&K pure mini, this guitar is stage ready.

Bourgeois Banjo Killer 2016

*This Guitar has Sold*
This pre-owned Bourgeois Banjo Killer, a wonderfully clear, balanced and effortlessly loud guitar, is in excellent condition without any noticeable scratches, dings or signs of wear. The guitar is exceptionally responsive by design, and includes scalloped Adirondack braces and hot hide glue construction. It of course excels at bluegrass, but is surprisingly versatile and musical, and can handle anything you throw at it with a pick or with bare fingers. I especially like it for rock and roll and blues playing. The neck, typical of Bourgeois guitars, is comfortable and the set-up is perfect. If you want to be heard, whether competing with other instruments in a jam or onstage, or playing all by yourself, and you want to look good doing it, this exceptional instrument will serve you well.

This pre-owned Eastman E6 OM is fabricated with all solid woods, Sitka Spruce and mahogany, and has a sound and playability that belies its modest price. In other words, this guitar has serious bang for the buck! It previously was a store demo, and has no signs of play or wear that I can find. The sound is all sitka/mahogany OM goodness: warm, versatile and soulful. This guitar comes with its original hard shell case.

Santa Cruz 1929 00 (2009)

This absolutely wonderful Santa Cruz 1929 00 might have the sweetest tone that I have experienced in a small body guitar! The playing experience is intimate with its comfortable size and perfect set-up. The string spacing allows for easy fingerstyle playing which is what this guitar excels at (though it responds surprisingly well to a flat pick). Check out the beautiful full body sunburst! The bass is plenty sufficient and clear, and the trebles are oh so sweet. The L.R. Baggs pick-up provides a very natural amplified sound, making this guitar ready for your next gig.

Scale length: 24.75
Nut Width: 1 3/4
String Spacing at Saddle: 2 1/4

Lowden O-25 (2000)

Lowden guitars have such a unique and beautiful tone - there really is nothing else that sounds quite like them. This especially holds true, in my opinion, with their O series guitars which are big, bold, deep, lush and full of wonderful overtones. This is a pre-owned Lowden O-25, with cedar and East Indian rosewood, built in 2000 and in wonderful condition. The responsiveness of this guitar works wonderfully for finger style pieces, and in my opinion excels in dropped tunings, though it has no problems with standard tuning or with a flat pick.

Taylor 512ce

This Taylor 512ce was built in 2018, just before the transition to V-class bracing. It has the advanced X bracing that was used prior to the change. In my opinion, the advanced X bracing provided a little more low end punch to the mix, which is helpful in a smaller body size like this grand concert. The combination of cedar and mahogany makes for a wonderfully warm, yet quick and responsive guitar with a surprising amount of low end guts! Add in Taylor's exceptional playability, enhanced by the short scale, the cutaway and the ES2 electronics, and this guitar makes for a great, easy, comfortable and wonderful sounding instrument which can excel at any type of playing and is ready for the stage.

Larrivee 00-60 (2005)

*This Guitar has Sold*

This pre-owned 12 fret, long scale 00-60 from 2005 is in wonderful playing condition with only minimal signs of wear. This Sitka Spruce top on this Larrivee has developed a beautiful patina which allows its herringbone detailing to really pop. The rosewood back and sides provide a richness and depth which belie its small size. The 25.5 inch scale length, unusual in a 00 sized guitar, adds punch, volume and bass clarity. There is a K&K pickup installed which sounds great, and it comes with its original hard shell case.

This Santa Cruz OM is in perfect, essentially unplayed mint condition. It has a deep, rich tone with sparkling highs, clear deep bass and all the amazing responsiveness that we expect from Santa Cruz. The cocobolo set that makes up the back and sides of this guitar is uniquely dark and straight grained, while the European spruce is creamy and full of silking. Very cool instrument!
