Reminder or announcement, the 2 hour special "Eric Clapton, Life In 12 Bars" airs tonight at 9pm on Showtime. It should roll over to their on-demand service tomorrow or Monday.

Yesterday, I recorded “Eric Clapton: Live in San Diego (2016)” on AXS. Haven’t watched it yet. Later tonight I’ll also be recording “Eric Clapton - The 1970s Review (2014)” also on AXS.

I’ve got me a bunch of EC concerts to enjoy!

If you have Sling (streaming service), they are doing a Showtime free preview weekend.

Saw it and was amazed at just how serious his drug & alcohol addiction was.
He was really down there. Good to see him clean & sober. Although I read that he has painful problems with his hands and might have to give up playing.
Truly sad.

And the topper is he's going deaf!

It seemed he was on a roll till Layla and then many problems for years. It was a sad story full of remorse.

I watched it last night as I recorded it when it first aired. I liked it, particularly the years up through Cream. Wonder where that psychedelic painted SG is these days?

One brief era they skipped was his stint with Delaney and Bonnie.
