NGD! Emerald X-7 (Now with pics!)
 

The Emerald X-7 I ordered back in February arrived today but since it's for my birthday (this Sunday) I'm not opening it until then. :)

Thanks go out to Sean for being easy to work with and getting the guitar to me right on schedule.

Not another picture of a box ! What a tease. Can you give us any info about the order?

I would have already opened it if it weren't a birthday present. I actually had them slow down my order to get it on schedule and not too early. I know, crazy.

As much as I'd want to play it, I'm an 'anticipation junkie' so I like the thrill of the wait no matter what it is, so I'm with you...I could and would endure the wait.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday, Matt! Well, you can read the "Congratulations" part right now, but don't read the "Happy Birthday" part until Sunday. :D

I trust you will find it worth the delayed gratification. (I think I have shown here that I am all about the immediate gratification. ) My wife asked for a concert this morning... I took the X7 off its stand and brought it into the living room (instead of playing in my guitar room) - just a delightful guitar to hold and play. Just mentioning that so you have something to think about for the next 3 days. :evilgrin:

I know, I know. I've owned over 50 guitars in my life and I've never put off opening one before so this is a rare thing for me.

I ordered an x7 on Nov. 1 (7 months ago); it missed my April birthday, now fingers crossed for Fathers Day. Hoping Sean and Alistair are working it. Your order did a lap around mine...
