Safari is working....

My iPad is showing Bruce's pics fine using Safari.

For which I am thankful. Always beautiful guitars from Mr Sexauer!!!

I used to use Mozilla's Firefox, put they kept changing it and it became quirky, so now I use Safari in all devices. Eventually, the world will probably leave this dinosaur behind, but in the meantime, I don't mind if some have to work a bit to see my stuff, I think it's worth it at least 78% of the time. :)

The solution suggested above (for Chrome) worked for me, and it was totally worth it. I've missed nearly two pages of images of your progress due to this little quirk, and I am 100% pleased to be back up to speed!

I think its because Bruce's photos are hosted on his website and its http, not https, whereas acousticguitarforum is https so Chrome stops this behaviour by default. Other threads will be showing ok if the poster's photographs are on a https site like flickr etc.

It's fixable but its personal choice if you're happy to do it - I don't know if there are any wider implications and everyone should make their own decision about it.

Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Insecure Content > then allow www.acousticguitarforum.com

Hope that helps, it worked for me.

Beautiful guitars Bruce, I always enjoy your threads.

Just wanted to say "thanks" for this! Cleared up my issues with seeing Bruce's posts via Chrome! Much appreicated!

Yes it works well and fixed my issue also. I have made note of this and shared it will all the moderators so if and when people reach out to us, we have it saved as a reference.

I hope the Chrome Folks have sorted this out as these are some of my favorite shots! The back got put on the Oz B'wood JB-16 this morning, and I am planning to bind tomorrow.

I am nearly done with the binding on this Oz B'wood JB-16. On a pointy cutaway I do the binding in seven stages.

The second seventh:

The fifth seventh bound:

Really interesting build Bruce. That body wood is fantastic as are the rest of the appointments. I’m anxious to see this under finish

This is going to be a BEAUTIFUL GUITAR. I have had a couple Tasmanian Blackwood instruments and they sounded FINE. Plus the wood is just PRETTY!

The binding is complete. Next is the end graft and the dovetail cavity. Then I'll go on to the neck, but not today as there is a big meal planned.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Americans.

Today I completed and delivered the Pistachio concert ukulele I may have shown off here a couple of months ago. I also made a page in my site, which some of you may still have the proper software to view.

Today I blocked and buffed the Myrtle CN#3 I made last month. I expect to assemble the neck to the body tomorrow and have strings on it shortly thereafter.

Yesterday the JB-16 oz B'wood went into finish and got it's pore filler. Today it has its first coat of oil varnish:

A better fix is for Bruce’ site to get an SSL certificate and go https. Easy fix for any web host, not too expensive to do, and more secure all around.
