Handmade wood guitar stand
8 Attachment(s)
I build these stands as a winter hobby when I'm not playing my guitars. The stands are extremely stable from tipping as the bases are heavy, I use string swing yokes which I feel cradle the neck well and are safe for nitro finishes. This stand has a nicely figured slab of buckeye burl for the base and a maple sapling for the upright, they are joined together using mortise and tenon with a hex head retainer bolt from the underside. The base has non-slip feet installed. The yokes are removable and can be switched for other instrument yokes. The stand is finished in polyurethane and then polished. It will be disassembled for shipping but I will include a hex wrench for assembly. I am asking $220 for this stand, free shipping, I will cover PayPal fees. Thanks for looking.Attachment 16184Attachment 16185Attachment 16186Attachment 16187Attachment 16188Attachment 16189Attachment 16190Attachment 16191

Just beautiful!!! Any way to put a Hercules neck holder on it?

Wow, that's gorgeous! If my guitars weren't case queens I'd buy that in a heartbeat.
