Show me your Les Paul

I guess since I am asking about seeing the other members Les Paul, I will go first.

Here is my 2008 Candy Apple Red Gibson Les Paul 1 of 1 custom.

Did not know it was so special until after i purchased it. It has 68 reissue specs but is not a 68 reissue and has a regular custom shop serial number but is nothing like the regular production custom shop Les Paul customs from 2008 either. So kind of an odd ball but hey, I am fine with that.

What a great thread! Beautiful Les Paul, Big Tim. Does it have the 490R/498T pickups? I know they used them at one time.

I've been through quite a few Les Pauls and these are keepers.

I feel downright deficient compared to Mr. Rockabilly's collection!

Here is my one and only Les Paul... 1973 Custom I bought new when I was 18. Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and Dimarzio PAF in the neck. Replaced in the early 80's (I think). Originals are in the Dimarzio cases in my guitar room.

Wow, those are pretty! Keep 'em coming. One of my buddies way back had a LP that I got to play frequently. Just a sweet, sweet guitar. These are beautiful, guys!

Not set up for pics, but this one I found on Reverb is a dead ringer for my 2011 LP Studio '60s Tribute:

https://images.reverb.com/image/uplo...qroaru6hhc.jpg

Looks like a sweet under-the-bed '56, weighs about as much (mid/high-sevens) as some of the heavier SG's (and plays like one thanks to the Slim-Taper neck), and extremely versatile: this one'll purr, growl, or scream; with a tube amp I can ride the tube-bloom "sweet spot" within single notes (those P-90's are incredibly responsive to touch - more so than humbuckers for my style); and if you think a Les Paul can't do surf or country credibly, think again...

Thank you. No this one has burst bucker 1 and 2 pick ups. The regular production custom from 2008 had 490 and 498 pick ups like you said.

This one has a long neck tenon an abr1 bridge with the post in the wood mirror reflector knobs and gibson deluxe tuning keys and with the bb 1 and 2 pick ups and paint job....it is what sets this one apart from the reissues and regular production customs from 2008.

Very Nice. I never saw an R7 gold top before. And those Heritage guitars......I consider them Gibson still since they are made by the same people. My friend had a Heritage H150 all black little custom. It was the only one I ever played and I liked it very much. They are hard to find but are very nice guitars.

P-90s are some cool pick ups. I like the sound but have never had one of my own.

Oh and I am sn SG fan as well too. Very light weight and great fret access.

Before I purchased the one I posted at the top of the page, I was looking for a 1973 custom as well because it is the year I was born. But I wound up with this one and am not complaining.

I like your 73. It looks like it has been well taken care of too!! Some of them from 73 were all mahogany from that year and collectors kind of snub their nose at them for some reason.

Very nice. I like the wood grain on guitars. I think it makes them more unique than a solid finish sometimes.

Sweet Custom! Yours is a beauty, and 1973 is right there in the sweet zone for that era!!! There is a guy on The Les Paul Forum who goes by "progrocker" and he knows his customs and loves those early 70's models!

That '74 is just gorgeous - I agree that Grain is Great. I've got a '93 Studio in wine/gold that looks like all the rest. Plays/sounds fine, but it's not much of a looker compared to either in your set!
