Liberty Mutual Insurance TV commercials - What commercials do you love to hate?

Not only are their commercials the worst I have ever seen, I would never buy insurance/products from someone who uses such a poor choice in marketing.

And no, it didn't make their name stick in my head either, I had to google "Ostrich in insurance commercials" to get their name.

Terrible.

Ok rant over. :D

My least favorite commercial at this moment is the Joe Namath ‘Medicare Advantage’ spot. And yeah, the LiMu Emu is a close second.

We cut the cable many years ago and have had to pay this price. Fortunately, we have a mute switch.

I don’t base my purchasing decisions on commercials. I base them on cost vs. value delivered as I see it.
It’s business to me, not emotions.

I don't have tv anymore (just streaming services) so no commercials. I can say going back a few years that the Geico commercials with the caveman grew on me until they were probably my favorite commercials.

Liberty mutual and Progressive insurance commercials are horrible...wish they would replace them with a black screen or something. I will never get their insurance because of their ads.

Not about their commercials but as a bundled customer of LM the premium would increase without any contract renewal. I contacted customer service and was told the premium increase was because LM "keeps getting sued" I'm not stupid I have been purchasing insurance for nearly 40 years. LM's scheme is analogous to "The Frog in Cold Water" I am with a new provider at equal coverage, lower rate and a responsive customer service.

A couple of Liberty commercials are painful, a couple of other not so much. But
Joe Namath and Danny Glover "Get everything you deserve" Medicare Advantage
ones are just about the worst.

My Wife and I recently semi-binge watched "Alien Resident" starring Alan Tudyck. Really fun!

But because of that and not being able to fast forward the commercials, if I see Parker, the delivery girl who "hooks up" Jake from Statefarm with all the goodies and a "side of ranch", I may self-injure...

I don't get advertising agencies. The whole reason is supposed to be motivated towards selling your clients' product or service. What we see on TV ends up being clever or humorous commercials for the sake of being clever or humorous. It does not move me to buy your stuff. I love the Emu with sunglasses selling insurance as it makes me smile. But I am not moved to buy your wares. The worst is Super Bowl time. Who can out-clever who for the big money in advertising dollars. How effective is the back end where money comes through the door for your client?

I liked the WENDY'S. Russian fashion show stuff (All the same tired dress) and the "My that's a spicy meatball---"---take 23! for some antacid product. After seeing them several times---not so much.

Sorry but the 1-800 CARS 4 Kids is the only commercial I run for the remote to mute.

This got me searching for an answer and I realized that I tune them out. I could not recall any commercials that I've paid enough attention to determine if I like them or hate them.

Easily the worst thing that airs in my part of the world. I’ve pretty much learned to tune them out, but there was a version I heard last week done to the tune of Happy Birthday. Dear God, was that awful. I’d rather listen to Vogon poetry.

As a competitor of LM I wish I could have somehow obtained a list of LM customers within 50 miles of my office. I could have been rich.

Their customer service, especially at claim time, is horrible.
