KirbysCovers

Just wanted to give a shout out to this guy. If you like to sing and play as I do, I think you will find his content helpful. His website can use better organization and perhaps not as polished as other YouTuber teachers but still lot to learn.

I’ve been working on this one

Simple D G A but lots of cool bass fills and interesting rhythm. Took me about 3 days but I think I am finally getting it :)

This is the most underrated teacher/player on youtube. He can make one guitar with a flatpick sound like a full band. I agree with you on the website though. I liked it better when you could search out a song title. I also wish he went a drop slower in his teaching but it has forced me to use my ear a lot.

I’ve stolen quite a bit from Kirby. His arrangements often make me stretch and learn a little more.

His notation is often confused. For example, he calls 200232 a D/Gb rather than the correct D/F#. Yes, it leads you to the same chord but the latter is correct and former shows a lack of understanding where music theory is concerned.

I like his covers as well. He includes solos in his arrangements which is great.

Yes, that's another reason why I like his covers/lessons.

As was mentioned before, I do wish his site and lessons were more polished.
