Sold my electric Godin Fifth Avenue Kingpin II
Had to thin the herd just a bit, and have had my Godin up on Craigslist for a while now, off and on. Advertised it for $650, price firm. It had been pro set-up and a new rosewood bridge put on it. Finally sold it to a guy the other day who was looking for that style of guitar to learn more jazzy stuff on at home. He really liked it and we made the deal. Heard three days later from him that he wanted to sell it back to me for $500 (a profit for me of $150) but that he'd understand if I passed on it. Which I did, not wanting to go through the whole posting/sale process again. I wish him luck! I figured he'll EASILY find a buyer for $500-$600....

sold my Godin....
Sounds like buyer remorse...or his wife found out about it...I feel for the guy...or maybe a sudden reverse of fortune with this crappy covid 19.....

That's why whenever I put something on Craigslist I always include, in big cap letters: ALL SALES FINAL.
It doesn't stop people from asking, but it helps make it easier to say "No". |
