Am I wrong or did Ted at LA Guitars kind of prod Rainsong into making the Shorty?

I think you're right, based on what I've heard.

I think it's a similar situation for the Bluegrass model with Michael at Macnichols.

I have no proof for these claims.

I'm glad he, and the forums, prodded for the Shorty FLE. I sure love mine.

Rainsong owes Ted on that one, everyone likes the Shorty it seems.

It's pretty cool to have a company with great guitars and customer service and so responsive to its retail outlets as opposed to those companies that seem to dictate what we customers are supposed to want...

You get that in the carbon space it seems. Just good companies.

Knowing Ted that must mean there is a Rainsong parlor in the works.

I would Kill to have a Rainsong 6/12 double neck...with black ice...shark inlays on the six, and a feeding frenzy on the twelve...sigh...;)

That would be cool but I don't think you will see another carbon company try a double. Would be interesting. My two favorite guitars Emerald Double and Rainsong JM 1000 BI N2. Neither is leaving my home.

That would be something I'd be very keen to see.

I'd personally love to see a Shorty Twelve.

I strongly supsect Ted is nudging Rainsong for a travel guitar. A parlor and a travel model would be wonderful addtions to their line up.

A Rainsong parlor would probably be irresistible, sometimes I dislike Ted! Have enough guitars!!
