Joined the club I suppose. Picked up a Cordoba C4-CE with factory gig bag yesterday... private owner, local used in mint, like new condition super cheap. Kid didn’t play it. I’d pondered this new at a local store. Has Fishman Sonitone pickup. Yet to try that. Just wanted a inexpensive crossover beginner. Had owned a Martin 000-16C Nylon couple years back and missed the classical sound especially holiday time. Has a quieter mellow tone than others but could be it has original strings. I have some hard tension pro artes I can try. Need to watch the Classical string install vid on my day off soon.

I have a C9 cedar topped crossover on order. Should be here in about a week.

I’m not comfortable with the standard wide, flat fretboards of classicals. Hoping the crossover will work out better.

Thanks all! I did a Plugged in quick test this morning after this post with an Ultrasound AG30. If not too loud it sounds nice and not too rubber bandy. Wouldn’t mind changing the tuners to black modern set on Cordoba site. Think I’m going to enjoy the journey. Oh yeah I smashed my right ring fingernail at work Saturday so fingerstyle is altered for a month, but making do. Check back later this week for pictures.
