SOLD! Takamine EAC48C Santa Fe acous/elect guitar
SOLD
Takamine EAC48C acoustic electric guitar, made by hand in the Takamine Japan shop. These things are rarer than hen's teeth!! This is a 2003 Santa Fe model that was a limited release. The guitar is in phenomenal condition for a 19 year old instrument. Full disclosure, there is some clouding in the finish on the face of the headstock, and to a much lesser degree on the body. This was not uncommon for some models of Takamine's for some strange reason. I have another Takamine with the same thing. Obviously does not detract from the great sound and playability of the guitar, only cosmetic. Aside from that, I would describe this guitar as being in "near mint" condition. The theme on this guitar is definitely the Santa Fe/Southwestern vibe with the rosette and fingerboard markers which are made from gemstones with turquoise, lapis, coral, and Mother of Pearl. So brilliant and beautiful!! The electronics on the Takamine guitars are as good as they get. This model has the CT-4BII preamp in it which uses a single 9V battery. There is a reason that so many pro players use Takamine's on stage, and their amplified sound is incredible. The guitar will come with the really nice original Takamine hardshell case in the photos. It has brown plush lining, I have the key to the case, and it still has the original hang tag. I restrung the guitar with a fresh set of Elixir Phosphor Bronze Nanoweb light gauge strings, polished the frets, and oiled the fingerboard and bridge over the weekend. All polished up and pretty and ready to go! My only reason for selling is that I happened to find two of these over a period of time and really don't need two of the same model. I also have ten other acoustic guitars, so needing to thin the herd some. This guitar is rare as I have said, and if the cosmetic issue was not present I would be selling it for $300-$400 more. Sell price is $1,700 plus shipping. Would prefer a local DFW area sale, but will ship at actual cost to lower 48 states, likely $80-$100 depending on location. Also prefer no fee payment such as Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal Friends and Family. Add for payment with fees. Great opportunity to own a great sound, great looking, and performance level acoustic electric guitar from Takamine's Japan shop! I look forward to hearing from you!! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...d607dbc8_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...f3759869_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...92550e1b_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...71dcf1bd_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...e13d06b0_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...06b3b361_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...486a96dc_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...55cc4789_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...05b3505f_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...fdb31088_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...28455af2_c.jpg |
